Chef Jordi Cruz

Jordi Cruz, Chef at ABaC Restaurant & Hotel and Ten's, brings to the table his quite brilliant curriculum. A journey which has earned him 4 Michelin Stars at only 34 years old. He earned his first Star at the tender age of 24, becoming the youngest chef in Spain and the second youngest in the world to have been awarded this accolade from the Michelin Red Guide. In January 2008 he opened the L'Angle Restaurant and just four months later was awarded another Star.

In May 2010 he became the Head Chef at the ABaC Restaurant & Hotel, which is now the city's 2** Michelin gastronomic benchmark, awarded the prize of Best Restaurant in Catalunya in 2011 by the Catalan Academy of Gastronomy. As the author of “Logical Cuisine”, Jordi is currently working on his second book, while never staying too far away from the kitchen where he finds his true everyday satisfaction. He defines his cuisine as evolutionary and restless, produce based and where creativity meets tradition.

The Argentinean chef Fernando Silva is in charge of the new venture, having trained in Gastronomy and Bartending in Uruguay. Fernando worked as a Chef de Partie and as a Head Chef in several restaurants in his native country before travelling to Spain in 2002 to continue on his culinary journey. Working initially in Madrid then moving to Barcelona in 2007, he worked in several establishments before finally joining ABaC. Here he was head of the meat section and under the tutelage of Jordi Cruz has now moved on to become the new Head Chef of 10's.
